About WTO8
We turn scattered public trade-show listings into a database you can actually use to pick a fair.
WTO8 (wto8.com) is a database of international trade shows, exhibition venues and organizers, built for exporters planning to exhibit abroad.
The problem we work on
Finding the right overseas fair means reading a few dozen websites: organizer sites, industry association directories, venue calendars, national exhibition bureaux. Different languages, different formats, half of it out of date. Most companies end up choosing on a peer recommendation or on whatever a booth agent is selling.
We pull those public sources together: one format for names and dates, duplicates merged, cities and venues linked up, then translated into Chinese and French. Every record here can be traced back to where it came from.
Where the data comes from
The data on this site is compiled from public sources.
How accurate it is
We deduplicate, validate fields and cross-check between sources. Even so, dates move, venues get renamed and organizers change hands. Confirm on the organizer’s own site before you book a flight or pay a stand deposit.
If you spot something wrong, write to us and we will fix it in the next data run.
Who we are
WTO8 is maintained by a small team at WhaleExpand working on data engineering and cross-border trade services. Questions, corrections and partnership ideas are all welcome by email.
