Licensing for the photographs, fonts, icons and flags used on this site.
Every third-party asset on the site is listed here. All of it is served from our own server; nothing is hotlinked.
Fonts
The site uses fonts available on your device, preferring Inter when installed and falling back to system sans-serif fonts. Chinese text uses fonts such as PingFang SC, Microsoft YaHei or Noto Sans CJK. Pages do not download webfonts.
Icons and flags
- Icons: Lucide, ISC licence.
- Flags: flag-icons, MIT licence.
Show images
Show images come from the sources listed on each record, and rights remain with the original publishers. We resize and re-encode them and serve them from this domain to identify the show they belong to. If you hold rights in an image and would rather it were not here, write to contact@wto8.com.
Maps
Venue, expo and city pages embed Google Maps directly. The embed and links below it search Google Maps, Apple Maps, OpenStreetMap, Baidu Maps and Amap using the venue’s canonical name and full place context. Stored WGS84 coordinates are used only when no place context exists. OpenStreetMap data remains subject to its contributor attribution and ODbL terms; it is a separate outbound service, not the data source of the Google embed.
The five link icons are unmodified product icons downloaded from each provider’s official site and served locally. Their names, icons and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners; file sources and hashes are recorded in public/maps/README.md.
Brand artwork
The whale mark, logo, share image, hero image, expo placeholder image and similar artwork were all drawn by this website.
Country, continent and venue photos
Country, territory and continent covers, and a small number of venue photos, come from Wikimedia Commons and are used under their Creative Commons licences. The author and licence of each image are shown behind the ⓘ icon in its bottom-right corner; the credit links to the original file page.
Changes: covers are centre-cropped to 16:9 and resized to at most 1600×900 and 800×450; venue photos are resized to at most 1600 px wide; nothing is upscaled, metadata is stripped and files are encoded as WebP.
