Bottleworks Hotel
About
With a history this bold, you can bet there's a story behind almost every square inch of this place. What’s now a luxury boutique hotel was once part of the largest Coca-Cola bottling plant in the world. Impressed? Bottleworks Hotel is a one of a kind boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis along historic Massachusetts Avenue. Housed within the former Coca Cola Bottling Company of Indianapolis, the hotel seamlessly blends rich history, beautifully restored Art Deco architecture, modern luxury, and exceptional hospitality to create a truly distinctive experience for meetings, events, weddings, and overnight stays. Originally built in the 1930s, the property was once home to what became the largest Coca Cola bottling plant in the world. Today, many of the building’s original architectural elements have been thoughtfully preserved and incorporated throughout the hotel. Guests are welcomed by striking terrazzo floors, intricate Art Deco details, historic features, curated artwork, and sophisticated modern finishes that honor the building’s past while providing the comforts and amenities of a luxury boutique hotel. Bottleworks Hotel features 139 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, offering spacious accommodations with thoughtful design and upscale amenities. From classic king and double queen rooms to distinctive suites and specialty accommodations, each room provides guests with a comfortable and memorable stay. Original architectural details are paired with luxurious linens, Nespresso coffee makers, stocked minibars featuring local favorites, high speed WiFi, smart televisions, Bluetooth speakers, and generous workspaces. For meetings and events, Bottleworks Hotel offers a collection of unique spaces designed to provide an alternative to the traditional hotel ballroom experience. With approximately 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space, the hotel can accommodate everything from executive board meetings and corporate retreats to receptions, private dinners, weddings, and social celebrations. Each event space has its own personality and connection to the building’s history. The Samuelson Room provides a versatile setting with rich wood paneling and abundant natural light, while the adjoining Club Room offers an intimate space ideal for receptions, breaks, or prefunction gatherings. The historic James and Lee Boardrooms, located within the former offices of the brothers who operated the original bottling company, provide a distinctive setting for executive meetings and leadership sessions. Additional meeting spaces include the flexible Yuncker Room and Preston Room, both well suited for corporate meetings, training sessions, breakout meetings, and presentations. The Lab, once used to develop and taste new Coca Cola recipes, offers an especially unique setting featuring floor to ceiling green glass tile and striking architectural details. The Library, the hotel’s largest indoor banquet space, provides a warm and sophisticated atmosphere featuring natural light, dark wood bookshelves, and original terrazzo flooring. For outdoor social celebrations, the Gallery Courtyard offers a beautiful open air setting and serves as a memorable backdrop for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and special events during its seasonal operation from May through October. Whether planning an executive retreat, corporate meeting, incentive program, wedding, social celebration, or weekend getaway, Bottleworks Hotel provides an experience that feels distinctly Indianapolis. With historic architecture, unique event spaces, luxury accommodations, personalized service, and an unmatched location within the Bottleworks District, the hotel offers much more than a place to meet or stay. It provides guests with an opportunity to experience an important piece of Indianapolis history, thoughtfully reimagined for today.
