Congress and exhibitions of Castilla y Leon Salamanca

The Congress and exhibitions of Castilla y Leon Salamanca has been designed to form an integral part of the city's monumental urban plan. This innovative architectural solution combines continuity and rupture; open and closed spaces with its traditional facade made of the famous Villamayor stone, thus harmonizing the building with the city's characteristic golden hue. The Convention Center also contains an amphitheater. This outdoor ensemble of a patio and an amphitheater snuggled between the two visible bodies rising out of the structure. The entrances on either side make access to the patio from distinct areas of the center independent and very flexible.
