Israel Ministry of Tourism

Israel Ministry of Tourism is an economic ministry whose primary aim is to increase the scope of economic activity in Israel. The ministry’s achievements are measured in economic terms, such as: contribution to the national product and to the balance of payments, increased investments in the tourism sector and contribution to employment. The ministry is involved in the development of public tourism infrastructures through a national development company and regional development companies. It also deals with the issue of the protection of the Dead Sea and the holy sites through the National Center for Development of the Holy Places.
