Kimpton Fitzroy London is now open following a multi-million pound refurbishment from top to toe. Originally opened in 1898 by the Frederick Hotels Company, and designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll, Kimpton Fitzroy London is a Grade II* listed ‘grande dame’ hotel that occupies the eastern flank of Russell Square in Bloomsbury. The new-look hotel will combine the rich heritage of the original building with a thoroughly modern sensibility. It will combine the glamour of its heritage with the character of its location, which connects the West End to the south with the City to the east and revitalised King’s Cross just five minutes away to the north.
