The Kartrite Resort, Catskill

The Kartrite Resort offers a distinctive setting for meetings, conferences, corporate retreats, team-building programs, and multi-day events in New York’s Catskill Mountains. Located in Monticello, NY, on 1,600 acres of wilderness, the resort gives groups the space to step away from the everyday and bring people together in an environment that feels both professional and refreshingly different. From focused day meetings to large-scale conferences and incentive programs, our experienced events team works closely with planners to create a smooth, well-organized experience from arrival through departure. Our signature Think Tanks and Events program includes more than 16,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space, integrated audiovisual capabilities, and customized meeting packages designed around each group’s goals, agenda, and size. Flexible layouts allow the space to support executive meetings, general sessions, breakout programming, workshops, receptions, team celebrations, and networking events. The Kartrite is particularly well suited for organizations looking for a productive meeting environment with room to think differently. Planners can combine focused business sessions with opportunities for connection, relaxation, and team engagement, all within one destination. Comprehensive catering services help simplify event planning, while our team remains focused on the details that contribute to a successful program — from room setup and technology to timing, service, and the overall guest experience. With 324 uniquely styled guest suites, the resort can accommodate attendees comfortably for overnight programs, leadership off-sites, corporate retreats, and extended conferences. Seven food and beverage outlets provide a range of options for casual team meals, hosted dinners, breaks, and informal networking. The surrounding Catskill setting also creates natural opportunities for groups to recharge between sessions and enjoy a change of pace without losing the convenience of a dedicated meeting destination. For planners seeking an added team-building or leisure component, the nearby Kartrite indoor waterpark may be considered as an optional activity, depending on the group’s objectives and program design. Nearby attractions, including Resorts World Casino, add further variety for attendees looking to extend the experience beyond the meeting agenda. At The Kartrite Resort, our goal is to “be the difference” for every group we serve. Whether you are planning a professional day meeting, a corporate retreat, a multi-day conference, or a memorable team event, our combination of flexible meeting space, attentive event support, comfortable accommodations, distinctive amenities, and Catskill location advantages provides a strong foundation for a successful program.
