The Model

The Model is a vibrant centre with 6 event spaces for contemporary arts on Europe’s northwest periphery, supported by Sligo County Council and the Arts Council. Through bold, relevant programming, we explore art, culture, identity, and ideas from global perspectives. At the heart of the community, we believe art can change lives. Our distinctive curatorial approach uses the collection to connect tradition with contemporary practice, creating meaningful exhibitions that resonate locally, nationally, and internationally.
