Tilodi Wilderness, a piece of Africa, is situated in the heart of the bushveld, set in 4000 hectares (10 000 acres), close to the foothills of the Waterberg. This is the African bushveld at its best. It offers the visitor a combination of rolling hills, wetlands and seasonal rivers with excellent game viewing and birding. To date, our bird list exceeds 296 species including the long tailed shrike, or Tilodi, with game such as sable antelope, tsessebe, eland, waterbuck, wildebeest, zebra and giraffe, as well as rhino, buffalo, hippo and leopard. The lodge offers 8 luxury chalets which accommodate up to 24 guests and boasts 4 luxury East African safari tents. All chalets and tents have en-suite bathrooms, double accommodation and patios with breathtaking views of the rolling foothills of the Waterberg.
