Alhama de Murcia has five districts, split in high districts: El Berro and Gebas, which are located in the northeast foothills of the Parque Regional de Sierra Espuna (Sierra Espuna's Regional Park), and low districts: El Canarico, Las Canadas and La Costera, located right on Guadalentin Valley. Alhama is located in a privileged setting in the heart of the Region de Murcia, in the fertile valley of the river Guadalentin, at the foot of the Natural Park of Sierra Espuna and Sierra de la Muela and a few kilometers from the beach and most important towns in region.
